Offer paid access to individual articles, feeds, archive entries, or downloads. Agents and applications can purchase a resource as part of their workflow while you define the content and access terms.

## Example payment flow

An agent researching a topic requests an article from your archive. It accepts the stated price, pays, and receives the article in a format it can process.

## Plan your integration

* Define whether payment grants one retrieval, time-limited access, or another type of access.
* Make permitted use explicit; payment for retrieval does not automatically grant redistribution rights.
* Decide how paid access coexists with subscriptions, search previews, and cached copies.
* Specify how buyers recover content when payment succeeds but delivery fails.
